| Tod Tolan M.D.
Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology Dr. Tod Tolan is a native of Oregon. After graduating from Astoria High School, Dr. Tolan attended Stanford University. He then continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University receiving his Medical Degree. From there he completed a Medicine Residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland followed by a residency in Anesthesia at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle with continuation of the residency at Stanford University Hospital and the University of California Hospitals in Davis, California. Dr. Tolan maintains a full-time practice in Anesthesia in Portland and is on the staff at several Portland-area hospitals. Dr. Tolan is Board Certified in Anesthesia. Dr. Tolan lives in West Linn, Oregon and is married with three lovely children. He is active in alumni relations and is currently a member of the OHSU School of Medicine Alumni Council. Dr. Tolan has published multiple articles in refereed medical journals. He has lectured on various topics pertaining to anesthesia. He is an active teacher and helps throughout the local community. He is an avid Stanford Cardinal football fan. He enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time at the Oregon coast with his family and friends. It is a pleasure to have Dr. Tolan as part of our office staff providing safe, effective anesthesia to all ages, but in particular to challenged patients, medically compromised patients, and to pediatric patients needing anesthesia management. |
